Scrolling by VOICE.
You speak and the text moves with you. Promter senses when you're talking and advances the script at your pace, word by word. No speech recognition, no audio leaving your device.
Just light leaving one screen and entering a camera
You point one device's camera at the other's screen and the script crosses over. One shows an animated sequence of QR codes, the other reads and reassembles it. No cloud, no account, no cable, no file and no connection at any point.

You write on the computer, with a real keyboard. Then you go record with the phone mounted on the rig. And in between there's always the juggling act: message it to yourself, open the email on your phone, copy, paste, watch the formatting break.
Here you just point one screen at another.
Every import asks whether you want to copy or replace. Promter never decides that for you.
The QR stays blurred until you say show, and if you leave the screen open it closes itself after 3 minutes. Your script doesn't sit exposed on a coworking desk because you went for coffee.
And about the question that always comes: for someone to capture your script, that person has to be physically in your room, pointing a camera at your device, at that exact moment. With tools that go through the cloud, anywhere in the world will do.
This is transfer, not sync. It's manual, it goes one way, it needs both devices in the same room and it doesn't resolve conflicts. If you edit the script after transferring, the other device won't know.
For very large volumes, file export is still the faster route.
You speak and the text moves with you. Promter senses when you're talking and advances the script at your pace, word by word. No speech recognition, no audio leaving your device.
Turn off the wi-fi. It keeps working. Your scripts stay on your device, there's no account, and nothing you write ever leaves.
Just like your content, our editor is RICH when it's time to write. Mark the tone, the emphasis and the pause. It all shows up exactly the same when you present, and one click strips it if you'd rather have plain text. Saves itself, always.
Open your camera inside the app. Record video up to 4K at 60 frames per second without looking away from the screen, without stepping out of frame.
And the camera operator, the director and the entire crew.
Which is why: a keyboard shortcut for every function, a Bluetooth clicker that works with zero setup, and a screen that won't go dark mid-read.
Horizontal and vertical mirroring, independent, so the reflection lands readable on the glass. Set it once and it remembers.
Promter runs entirely on your device. No server holding your scripts, no database with your account, no speech recognition API billing by the minute, no AI model billing by the request.
Mac, PC, Android, iOS, Linux. All you need is an up-to-date browser. No app store, no installer, no waiting on a download.
So I put together this FAQ to set your mind at ease.
